Unfortunately, there's no other place to eat that's very close, other than an Irving gas station next to the hotel, which does have various food items. Yogurt, cold cereal and milk are available, but that's pretty much it. The hotel offers a very basic breakfast in the morning, consisting mostly of bread, bagels and other pastries. There is a restaurant in the hotel but it is currently closed for renovation. The toilet and shower are offset from the vanity area and has a door for privacy, the vanity area itself does not. The vanity area is offset from the main room, which also holds the iron/ironing board and a K-Cup machine. Also, the vent in the bathroom appears to be connected to the room behind it, so I could hear the guests in the other room without too much trouble. It was fairly quite in the hotel, although I did hear guests on either side of me when they were outside. The bed itself was fine, other than the mini-pillows that hotels seem to be using nowadays. The HVAC system in the room worked fine and I was able to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. There was a desk area that was a bit on the smaller side but usable for most guest purposes. This made the TV a little hard to watch from either the bed or the seating in the room. There was a microwave and mini-fridge in the credenza that also served as a TV stand. The furniture did seem a bit dated, however. It seemed slightly cramped between the bed and furniture but I wasn't tripping over everything. The room itself was reasonably comfortable. Most rooms appear to be entered from the exterior of the building. After you check in, you have to drive around the corner from the lobby to get to your room. The main office/lobby is not attached from the rooms. The layout of the hotel is a bit interesting. I stayed at this hotel for one night while visiting family in the area.
